He explained that the school had kept the toilet doors locked for a while prior to fitting the metal doors that he referred to as "locked cage doors".
He went on to say that kids are only allowed to go to the toilet under supervision which is "totally wrong".
Ward described it as "taking away the freedom of being able to use the toilet as and when you need it."
The 54-year-old added: “What if a child is on their period or has problems holding for a long time? I understand they have problems with kids in toilets, but to put metal doors on them is just going too far.”

He slammed the school for taking away the children's "safe place" and "relaxed environment".
He asked: "How is it a relaxed environment when they are locked up?"
The school is said to have made the change as it was having issues with students in the toilets, but Ward doesn't think that the metal doors is the solution to the problem.
He suggested having someone sit by the toilets at certain times, so that they can intervene if there are any issues, rather than locking the toilets and forbidding students from using them.

A spokesperson for Foxford Community School told CoventryLive: "We have recently installed metal doors to two toilet areas, these are not cages and the doors are unlocked before and after school, as well as at break and lunchtimes.”
GB News has approached the school for comment.
