A student has slammed Sainsbury's claiming that they were denied access to a staff toilet because the disabled customer toilet was closed.
The user, known on social media as TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi), shared the story of the incident.
In a post he claimed that to have shown his special toilet access card to the staff.
However, staff in the supermarket in Cromwell Road, Kensington refused him access to the facilities.
The student said they were not allowed to use the staff toilet at the central London Sainsbury's

He claimed the card was given to him by a bowel specialist nurse to be used in emergencies.
He wrote: “Hi @sainsburys your Kensington store manager Marika just refused me access to a bathroom.
"Despite presenting this. I look forward to your response."
The card read: "Just Can't Wait. I have a medical condition and need to access a toilet urgently. Toilet Access Card."

After reaching out to the supermarket chain, they responded saying they were "very concerned" and apologised for the "distress this incident has caused".
Posting the response to his email on social media, he said: "Well as promised I said I'd post the @sainsburys response. Essentially 'Sorry we upset you but policy' (apparently the toilets on the third floor and H&S policy says no). Doesn't quite cut the mustard.
"Looks like they're quite happy to leave disabled/vulnerable customers at risk. So if you have little ones or a disability, it's probably best to avoid @sainsburys. What a missed opportunity."
The response from Sainsbury’s reads: "Thank you for contacting the Executive Office at Sainsbury’s. I have been asked to look into this matter and personally respond to you.
The spokesperson added: "I was very concerned to learn of the difficulties that you have experienced at the Cromwell Road store. On behalf of Sainsbury’s, I would like to take this opportunity to express how sorry I am for any distress this incident has caused.
"I have spoken to the store manager who has advised the public toilets were closed many months ago. The colleague toilets are up three flights of stairs and it is our policy that customers are not allowed to use them due to health and safety concerns.
"Once again I am sincerely sorry for the inconvenience and distress this has caused."
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We strive to be a truly inclusive retailer where people love to work and shop. We are in touch with Mr Porter-Blake about his experience and to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
