Two 48-hour strikes will be carried out as planned this week

Members of the RMT on Network Rail have rejected the latest pay offer and will go ahead with two 48-hour strikes this week, the union announced.
Network Rail offered workers a 5% pay rise with a further 4% in 2023.
But on Monday the RMT confirmed its members had rejected the deal, the course of action advocated by the union.
Strikes will be carried out on Tuesday and passengers have been told only to travel if it is absolutely necessary.
RMT members at Network Rail will take further industrial action from 18:30 on Christmas Eve until 06:00 on 27 December, it was announced last week.
Workers will then go on strike between 3-4 January and 6-7 January.
The industrial action is part of a dispute between the RMT, which represents around 40,000 rail workers, and the train operators and Network Rail over pay, jobs and conditions.
