Reform Party leader Richard Tice has warned Britons are “fuming mad” at uncontrolled migration as they are put “in danger”.
It comes amid a spate of terror attacks in Europe that has led many to question whether an atrocity could be committed on British soil in the near future.
While the terror threat is yet to be upgraded, a shooting in Belgium and a stabbing in France has prompted many to question when the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre will take action.
Speaking on GB News, Richard Tice argued that one of the factors putting Britons at danger is uncontrolled migration, saying the Government is not carrying out its duty of “protecting” its citizens.
“The whole Schengen Zone, which thankfully we have never been a part of, is disastrous”, he said.
“You are seeing in this case this person roaming across Europe, and many of these people are coming to northern French shores and trying to get to the UK on the boats.

“We have our own situation. Just seven days ago we had an asylum seeker who is being charged with the killing of a British citizen, a 70-year-old man who was walking peacefully down the street, that’s not the first time.
“This uncontrolled movement across Europe of people elsewhere in the world seeking asylum and seeking a better life is leading to frankly our citizens being put in danger.
“It’s got to stop. British people are fuming mad at this.”
It comes after two football fans were left dead in a terrorist attack in Brussels on Monday, while a third victim survived with serious injuries.
Fans inside the nearby King Baudoin Stadium were ordered to remain in situ to ensure their safety.
The ongoing football match between Sweden and Belgium was abandoned at half time as a result of the atrocity.
The attacker, who claimed responsibility in a video posted online and also claimed to be a member of the Islamic State, was later shot dead by Brussels Police.
The attack has resulted in Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson to demand tougher EU border controls.
“Everything indicates that this is a terrorist attack against Sweden and Swedish citizens, simply because they are Swedish”, said Kristersson during a press conference on Tuesday.
“These terrorists want to frighten us into obedience and silence. That will not happen”, he said.
He continued by adding that Sweden and the European Union must better protect their borders to ensure dangerous people cannot stay illegally in the region.
“This is a time for more security. We can’t be naive”, Kristersson added.
