Vladimir Putin will stop his aggressive endeavours in Ukraine and it will be thanks to Donald Trump, according to broadcaster JJ Anisiobi.
Speaking on GB News, the political commentator credited Trump’s ability to “say the truth outwardly” for his popularity.
It comes after the US President locked horns with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky in an extraordinary public fallout.
Anisiobi said on GB News: “Trump left and Putin went mad dog crazy and wants more. Now, Putin is going to stop, and you have my word, Putin will stop.
JJ Anisiobi praised Trump's 'truth'

“It’s because of Trump. Not because of Zelensky or Biden. It’s going to be because of Trump.
“The reason this audience and the wider public and people like myself like Trump saying the truth outwardly is because we’re sick of politicians going out and shaking hands in front of the cameras, and behind closed doors it’s a different story.”

Barry Gardiner hit out at Trump
GB NEWS
Labour MP Barry Gardiner hit back, pointing to Trump’s previous term in office where Russia effectively took over parts of Ukraine.
“Putin had invaded and occupied all of Crimea and part of the eastern part of Ukraine”, he said.
“Trump didn’t do anything about that apart from give them javelin missiles. He didn’t say ‘this is a complete breach of international order’.
“Zelensky said ‘we had two treaties with Putin, he didn’t hold to either of them. If we sign another one, it’s only if you, America, guarantee it, it’s going to hold’.
“That’s what America does not want to do.”
Trump accused Zelensky of lacking gratitude during the extraordinary showdown in the Oval Office.
Zelensky refuted the suggestion, insisting on multiple occasions he has already said ‘thank you’.
Trump’s vice president, JD Vance, also intervened to criticise the Ukrainian leader, claiming he lacked respect and “tried to litigate this in front of the American media”.
“You should be thanking the president”, he told Zelensky as frustrations boiled over.
