Putin threat: Nato could take Russia out in just THREE days - US congressman's shock claim

A US congressman has claimed the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) could take out Russia in just three days as the brutal war in Ukraine rages on.
Illinois Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger responded to a tweet asking why NATO hadn’t defeated Russia yet.
Kinzinger replied to the Twitter user who asked: “If Russia's military is so pitiful, why hasn't NATO beat them yet?”
He said: “I'm hoping this is a joke. NATO vs Russia would be like a real three day operation.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been in a protracted dispute with NATO after raising concerns about the West’s influence in the months leading to the Ukraine war.
Experts say they are worried that the Russia-Ukraine war may escalate into bigger conflict with NATO.
Since the conflict began in Ukraine, Kinzinger has been a vocal supporter of the country, and even went as far to call out members of his own party for focusing on attacking Disney despite the “genocide going on in Ukraine”.
At the time of the feud between Disney and Florida Republicans over the state's anti-LGBTQ law, Kinzinger said: “There is a genocide going on in Ukraine and the outrage is over what's happening at Walt Disney.
"You guys deserve way better.
Some NATO members have supplied Ukraine with military and humanitarian aid throughout the conflict but have not got directly involved.
And since Ukraine is not part of NATO, Russia’s invasion has not established a NATO military response.
However, NATO and Russia have both warned about the potential for escalation over recent weeks.
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg told Norwegian broadcaster NRK earlier in December: "I fear that the war in Ukraine will get out of control and spread into a major war between NATO and Russia.
“If things go wrong, they can go horribly wrong."

Konstantin Sivkov, a guest on Russian state TV suggested that Moscow needs to prepare more missiles.
He said: “We need to produce more powerful and modern weapon systems, given the inevitability of a clash with NATO in the near future."
