GB News members were asked whether they think that Starmer will let in millions more migrants

A former Brexit negotiator has slammed Sir Keir Starmer, accusing the Labour Government of having "no strategy" for dealing with immigrants.

Lord Frost said that social tensions will "get worse" under a Labour Government.

It comes as 12 migrants tragically lost their lives trying to cross the Channel last week after their boat capsized including a pregnant woman and six children.

Now, Lord Frost has said Tories can’t afford to equivocate on how to respond and called for the UK to leave the ECHR.

Lord Frost said: "We have huge levels of legal immigration. Let’s just remind ourselves. In the last ten years, according to the ONS, four million people have moved here, and half a million Brits have moved out. Of those four million, three million are non-Europeans, and over half arrived in the last two years, very largely from India, Pakistan, Nigeria, and China, but in fact from virtually every country in the world.

"The loss of control is made superabundantly clear by the fact that, even during 2020, when borders were mostly closed, 170,000 people settled here. That’s too high in any year.

"You don’t have to look much further for the source of some of the tensions which bubbled up over the summer. Yet Labour shrugs their shoulders

"I genuinely think they simply don’t regard immigration as a problem, and it is certainly clear that they see its consequences as best dealt with by cracking down on crime and speech rather than by limiting the inward flow."

A whopping 98 per cent of GB News members who voted in the poll believe that Starmer will let in millions more migrants.

Just two per cent on the other hand however believe that he won't.
