Police have released CCTV images to find a woman they want to talk to after a mother was killed in an e-bike “hit and run”.
Alana Armstrong, 25, died at the scene in the village of Pleasley, Derbeyshire, on Tuesday after suffering “catastrophic” injuries when she was knocked off of the bike.
The mother-of-one was knocked off a country road by a suspected Land Rover, which rammed Armstrong whilst she was riding pillion.
She died at the scene of the collision in Batley Lane, Pleasley, at around 8.00pm, whilst the driver of the dark coloured 4x4 drove away.

The car - believed to be a Land Rover Discovery - was following two e-bikes before ramming into one of them.
A man in his 20s who was riding the bike was also injured in the collision. He had to have his leg amputated below the knee.
Derbyshire Police have now released the CCTV images of a woman they want to speak to in connection with the collision. They believe she has “vital information”.
The woman was pictured outside The White Swan, in Meden Square, shortly before 8.00pm.

She is of average build and height, and had dark hair tied back into a ponytail.
Chief Superintendent Dave Kirby said: “Alana was just 25 – and a mum to a six-year-old boy.
“Her little boy, along with her wider family, will never get the chance to see her again, hug her again, spend Christmas together or celebrate all those milestones.
“My thoughts, as well as those of the whole force and community, are with them at this time.”

GETTYHe added: “As an officer, as a member of the local community, and as a father, I am devastated for her little boy, her family, and her friends and we will do all we can to find those responsible.”
Kirby said that the force knows that there were two people inside the Land Rover, and that they have “already received a significant amount of information from the public”.
However, stressed that anyone who has information about a dark coloured Land Rover Discovery, believed to be manufactured between 2004 and 2009, should come forward.
Two people, a man and a woman both in their 30s, were arrested in connection with the incident. They have since been released without charge.
