The woman revealed she had been tolerating cars either parking in her drive or blocking it every morning for months

A homeowner has been left frustrated after her neighbour, who runs a pet grooming business, allowed employees to park in her driveway without permission.

The woman shared her experience on Mumsnet, explaining how she returned home from work to find an unfamiliar car parked in her driveway.

"My front drive is very clearly my driveway. I came home today to find a car in my drive which was not my husband's," she wrote.

The situation escalated when she confronted the vehicle owner, who refused to move their car immediately, despite being asked to do so.

The homeowner wrote: "I reply, 'No, move it now please as I have to unload my car.' Person refuses and I end up leaving telling them to move it within 30 minutes."

The homeowner explained that an hour after the confrontation, the car was still there and no one answered when she knocked on the neighbour's door.

"That was an hour ago and when I knock on the door there is no answer," she wrote in her post.

She described how her home is situated on a corner with two driveways, each big enough for one car.

The area has limited parking with permit restrictions, making driveway access particularly valuable for residents, the woman explained.

According to the homeowner, this wasn't the first time such an incident had occurred.

"Thing is this went on last year but after words it sooner stopped but obviously they are doing it again," she said.

Her husband had previously confronted the employees about the parking issue.

When questioned, "Apparently my entitled neighbour has said it's OK for them to park there and they have cleared it with us. No they b****y haven't!"

The woman revealed she had been tolerating cars either parking in her drive or blocking it every morning for months.

The neighbour had been suggesting her employees and customers use the vacant driveway spaces during the day for convenience.

Fellow Mumsnet users were quick to offer suggestions on how to prevent future unauthorised parking.

One commenter proposed a creative solution: "Anyway you could block it in with other stuff? Stuff obviously they can move but it will help make a point?"

The same person added: "And hoping I get in there first for the future maybe penguin bollards?"

Another was more direct, simply advising: "Get it towed."

A third commenter agreed with the bollard suggestion: "Cheeky buggers. Definitely get yourself some drop bollards."

The homeowner mentioned she couldn't block the car in herself as "the road is only wide enough for one car so would block the road."
