Comedian Nish Kumar has sparked fury after claiming Prime Minister Boris Johnson is a “white man brought down by Asians”.
Pressure continues to grow on Mr Johnson after former Health Secretary Sajid Javid and former Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak resigned from their roles yesterday evening.
Both Mr Javid and Mr Sunak sent separate letters to the PM, with the latter saying: "it was a decision that I have not taken lightly."
Shortly after the news broke, Mr Kumar took to Twitter to outline his views on the matter.

He jokingly said: “Balancing out the fact that I can't stand Javid or Sunak with the fact that I love to see a rich white man brought down by Asians.”
The comedian's comments have since been retweeted over 1,700 times and liked almost 26,000 times.
His jibes have since been slammed by many on social media, with a political commentator calling him a “vile racist bigot”.
One social media user said: “Why do you have to make it about race?”
While regular GB News commentator Mahyar Tousi hit back at the comedian, saying: “You’re a vile racist bigot.”
Downing Street has since confirmed that Nadhim Zahawi will replace Mr Sunak as the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Universities Minister Michelle Donelan will assume Mr Zahawi's previous role as Education Secretary.
The Government is currently embroiled in a row over the handling of alleged misconduct from MP Chris Pincher.
Mr Pincher quit as Deputy Chief Whip last week following claims that he groped two men at a private members’ club, but Mr Johnson was told about allegations about him as far back as 2019.
