Nigel Farage has hit out at protesters taking to the streets to counter the rioters who have trashed streets across Britain in recent days.
The GB News star has been unequivocal in his condemnation of damage caused by the rioters who have wreaked havoc since the killings of three girls in Southport at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.
But after a Labour councillor was filmed allegedly saying far-right demonstrators needed to have their throats cut, the Reform MP questioned the response from those surrounding him.
“The man who was making those very unpleasant comments has now been removed as a Labour councillor and subsequently arrested”, he said.

“But it’s interesting. Isn’t it? Despite the things he said, big applause from the crowd.
“Also, chants of ‘free Palestine’. What the hell has Palestine got to do with it?”

In a statement, a Met spokesperson said: “Officers have arrested a man aged in his 50s at an address in south-east London.
“He was held on suspicion of encouraging murder and for an offence under the Public Order Act.
“He is in custody at a south London police station.”
In reference to the video, a Labour spokesperson said: “This behaviour is completely unacceptable and it will not be tolerated.”
