GB News star Nigel Farage was embroiled in a feisty row with former Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle over ‘two-tier policing’ in Britain.
The Reform leader claims the ‘two-tier’ element is rearing its ugly head in the wake of violence at the Notting Hill Carnival.
He questioned Sir Keir Starmer’s lack of condemnation after eight stabbings happened during the weekend festival.
Speaking to Russell-Moyle, Nigel said: “If 61 police officers are assaulted, that is not far away from being a riot. Come on.”

The ex-Labour MP responded by saying a due process must be undertaken before questions are asked about the festival.
“We have to see if there is always a problem at this place and the large events. We know other large events cause disobedience and that needs to be stamped down”, he said.

Nigel hit back to say the notion of “disobedience” does a disservice to the “societal breakdown” taking place across Britain.
It comes after riots swept Britain earlier in the month in the wake of a crazed knife attack in Southport, where three young girls were killed.
The police response and sentences handed out have raised questions of ‘two-tier policing’ in Britain.
Former Scotland Yard Detective Mike Neville feels this is the case, and he raised an incident in Harehills, Yorkshire last month where he feels the police showed a dereliction of duty.

“They simply withdrew and left the community to burn buses while people in the community were left in their houses fearing for their lives”, he said.
“The rioting that took place - towns like Bolton, where I come from, are poor places. You question whether there are underlying sentiments.
“All you get from the Prime Minister is ‘right-wing thugs will be locked up’. It’s not two-tier policing as such, it’s two-tier Government.
“They’re setting these agendas where working class people have their concerns dismissed and if they do riot, they are dismissed as thugs.”

Police made 349 arrests over the weekend, including 72 for possession of an offensive weapon, 53 for assault on an emergency worker, and 53 for possession of class B drugs.
There were 61 instances where officers were assaulted, the Metropolitan Police said.
The weekend saw eight stabbings, and a 41-year-old man was left in a critical condition after he was assaulted in Queensway on Monday.
There were also eight stabbings during the two-day event last year, and seven, including a murder, in 2022.
