'I don't want to be here!’ Doctor fumes amid fresh strike action

A doctor has hit out at the latest round of strike action, as junior doctors and consultants walk out in their first joint strike against the government.

Dr Moataz Abdelrahman told GB News of his anger at the latest industrial action, in a bid to secure higher pay and better working conditions.

Speaking to GB News reporter Sophie Reaper, Dr Abdelrahman said: "I do not want to be on an industrial action. I do not want to come here. I would like to be in my place of work serving my patients, but that's forced me to come out so that our voice is heard. It is not fair. All what we need here is a fair pay.”

The strike action will take place between Tuesday 19th September and Friday 22nd September.
