'Sam' sent a letter to another resident saying he would sell or trade landscaping fabric
A disgruntled resident has been left seething after being told he could buy back a stolen delivery package.
The intended recipient ordered landscaping fabric but it "accidentally" ended up in the hands of another neighbour.
A letter was sent to the resident just weeks later.
'Sam', the neighbour who penned the note, said: "Hi, I'm Sam. I live down the street. A few weeks ago, we got some landscaping fabric delivered to us by accident.

"We have one roll left if you are interested in buying it. We are selling it but if you wanted to trade something for it we could work something it.
"Its members mark brand four by 225. Text me if you're interested."
People who receive a parcel which is addressed to another person are morally obliged to do their best to get it to the intended recipient or send it back to the supplier, according to insurance company Saga.
The story about the neighbour trying to sell the landscaping items back to the intended recipient was uploaded onto discussion website Reddit.
Users appeared outraged by the incident and voiced their frustration about the letter sent by 'Sam'.
One said: "Literally they gave you a signed confession, you know what you need to do."
Another wrote: "Rip it out of their yard."
The comment prompted one user to quip: "And then offer to sell it back to them."

However, not everyone appeared to blame the neighbour for the incident.
One person said: "Isn’t this the mistake of the delivery company?
"I’m confused why the neighbour is the party at fault.
"OP needs to mark the delivery as not delivered and contact the company they purchased it from and they should have it refunded and re-ordered."
