A lottery player has been left devastated after she missed out on £100million following afatal error.

Lydia Morgan said she has "been terrored badly" in a post on social media as she revealed the winning EuroMillions numbers for September 3.


Despite her own numbers matching the winning figures, she lost out on £111,706,402 because she did not play that particular draw.

Morgan explained that she usually plays the same numbers on the EuroMillions, but did not put the lottery on that specific day.

Her numbers 7, 9, 11, 16, and 45 - along with star numbers 2 and 5 - would have seen her bag the huge prize fund.

Asking for clarification, social media user, Lewi Waring wrote: "Are they your normal numbers and forgot to put them on, or did they just not pay out, am confused."

Morgan replied: "Yeah normal numbers! Didn’t put them on Tuesday.

"Literally feel sick."

Similarly, a couple also missed out on a huge £35million lottery win.

Edwina and David Nylan, from Leicester said they missed out on the life-changing prize as they did not have enough money in their account when they bought their ticket.

After spending Christmas believing they were set to become millionaires, they were told by former Lottery operator, Camelot that there was no record of their transaction.
