A missing Briton has been found dead in Turkey after mysteriously disappearing while on holiday.
Ben Crook, 32, was reportedly escorted off a plane in Antalya on September 23, where he had flown to as part of his birthday celebrations.
He was then seen again the following day (September 24) at the airport once more, before his final sighting at 12.30pm on the afternoon of September 25 at Seven City Hotel.
Crook, from the Abertridwr area of Caerphilly, in Wales, was last spotted wearing a black Versace shirt, black shorts and white Nike trainers with a blue swoosh.
Following his mysterious disappearance, his family launched an appeal for help, urging anyone with information to get in touch with them.
The Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) said at the time of the disappearance: “We are supporting the family of a British man reported missing in Turkey and are in contact with the local authorities.”
A relative of Crook's, then announced on social media that a search team had found a body police believed to belong to the 32-year-old.
The FCDO then confirmed the tragic find a day later, saying: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Turkey and we are in contact with the local authorities.”
