Man, 49, charged with murder after two women killed in Christmas Day stabbing

A 49-year-old man has been charged with murder after a suspected knife attack on Christmas Day.
Thames Valley Police said that Jazwell Brown has been charged with two counts of murder after Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24, died in a reported stabbing in Bletchley on December 25.
Brown has also been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count each of possession of a knife in a public place and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal in connection with the incident.
A man in his late 20s and a teenage boy were taken to hospital with serious injuries, and are both in a stable condition, police said.

A dog which had also been injured in the incident in Santa Cruz Avenue, Newton Leys, Bletchley, was thought to have died, but police have since been informed it survived.
Officers had been called to the scene at about 6.30pm on Christmas Day.
Then, a large cordon was still in place on Boxing Day - where photos from the scene showed forensics teams walking up the stairs of a block of flats.

Numbered yellow evidence markers and first aid kits were also spotted on Santa Cruz Avenue, as well as on the boot of a car parked on the adjoining Trinidad Grove.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Brangwin, of Thames Valley Police's major crime unit, said before the charge: "Firstly I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the families of the women who have tragically died in this shocking incident.
"We have launched a double murder investigation which may be concerning to the wider public, however we have made an arrest and are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident and the parties are known to each other.

Brown has been remanded in custody and will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
