A migrant who "carried out a sexual attack" has fled Britain as prosecutors drop the charges against him.
Adnan Ahmed, 37, was due to appear at Weymouth magistrates court in December following allegations he sexually assaulted a woman at a Portland Bed and Breakfast.
The incident allegedly occurred in August last year while Ahmed was residing on the Bibby Stockholm barge, which housed asylum seekers.
After failing to attend his court appearance, magistrates issued an arrest warrant when his whereabouts became unknown.

A summons was sent to the Bibby Stockholm barge on November 2, instructing Ahmed to appear in court the following month.
Court clerk Natalie Evans said: "Mr Ahmed is not here. He was on conditional bail to be here. We don't know where he is now that [Bibby Stockholm] has been vacated."
She added: "He was charged by the police and given conditional bail on November 2. He was meant to be here at 10am."
Prosecutors have now confirmed that Ahmed has fled the country, leading them to drop the charges against him.

The Bibby Stockholm barge was vacated in October 2024, with more than 300 residents relocated following the Government's decision to close the facility after the July General Election.
The case has raised questions about monitoring of asylum seekers housed in temporary accommodation.

Ahmed had been living on the controversial Bibby Stockholm barge at the time of the alleged assault.
The facility was closed following the change of government after the July 2024 general election.
Ahmed was granted conditional bail after being charged with sexual assault in November. By the time his court date arrived in December, he had disappeared.
Authorities were unable to locate him after the Bibby Stockholm was emptied of its residents.
