GB News host Martin Daubney has expressed his disbelief at the latest record-breaking migrant Channel crossings, describing it as "another day in clown world."
The presenter made the comments after the People's Channel exclusively revealed that today has seen the highest number of small boat arrivals this year.
Figures counted by GB News in Dover showed 669 migrants arrived in Dover Harbour, surpassing the previous high of 656 recorded on Saturday.
Another small boat was being monitored making progress towards UK waters with reports suggesting up to 70 migrants were on board.
Martin branded it as "another day in clown world"

This could potentially push Tuesday's total to over 700 migrants in a single day.

Martin said: "Simply beggars belief. We have become so immune to this that it feels like, oh, there's another another day in clown world.
"But this is another grim tally that's been beaten. Another record for a day. And let's be honest, more brazen celebration by those on the small boats."
Immigration expert Mike Jones responded: "You become desensitized to it after a while, and many more records will be smashed during Labour's time in office because the gangs are smashing Sir Keir Starmer rather than the other way round.
"Now Keir Starmer has adopted a law and order approach. I'm not against that. But the law and order approach is to detain and deport, not stop the boats, not smash the gangs, detain and deport.
"But to do that, you need two things. First of all, you need to reopen detention centres. And number two, you need to amend or abolish the Human Rights Act.
"You need a legal architecture there that's working with the Home Office, not against it. But at this moment in time, the Home Office is like a Potemkin institution.
"It has no real power. All of that power lies with the judges and the human rights lawyers.
"Sir Keir Starmer can try as much as he wants to smash the gangs. But it's not going to happen."
The UK had a record number of migrants cross the channel today

Despite frequent rain showers across the Channel on Tuesday, Border Force and French border patrols were inundated with small boat sightings.
One senior maritime security source told GB News: "This is an absolute disaster for Labour's border security policies."
"But the fact is, we're not seeing the gangs smashed, we're seeing all previous records for migrant crossings being smashed," the source added.
