Speaking about the figures on GB News, Michelle said: "I've got to be honest, one of the problems with this is that there are so many gaps in the data, so it's quite hard to get a clear picture.
"But on this point right from the data it says that two nationalities, Afghans and Eritreans, were more than 20 per cent more likely to account for sexual offence convictions than British citizens.

"Overall, foreign nationals were 71 per cent more likely than Brits to be responsible for sex crime convictions. That’s according to The Telegraph a few weeks ago."
She added: "I mean, I don’t mean to be funny, but you don’t need to be some kind of top-level statistician to work out that if you import goodness knows how many men from cultures that quite literally do not respect women, you’re going to see an uptick in crimes, particularly against women.
"It’s not really rocket science, is it, ladies and gents? But anyway, let’s see what all of this data shows. The data is only one part of it. Because once you’ve got the data what happens next?
"Then there’s Rupert Lowe, an MP I have to say I do admire. He says 'the next step is to get a full nationality breakdown of those claiming Universal Credit and other benefits. Let’s see who is living off the British taxpayer and where they’ve come from.’
"I think it would be very interesting, wouldn’t it, ladies and gents, to have a full picture of the true cost of immigration into this country whatever that may be."

Foreign nationals sentenced to 12 months or more in prison face automatic deportation under current rules.
The Home Secretary also maintains the power to deport those receiving shorter sentences if she deems their presence not conducive to the public good.
Home Office sources attribute the rise in numbers to early releases due to prison overcrowding, instability in some countries hampering deportations, and numerous human rights appeals.

PAHome Office figures are expected to reveal that Albanians, Romanians and Poles represent the main nationalities among foreign criminals living in the community.
The most common offences committed by these groups include the production of drugs, theft and robbery, and acts of violent assault.
Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick welcomed the forthcoming data release, stating: "We will finally see the hard reality that mass migration is fuelling crime across our country."
"Frankly, the public deserved to know this long ago," Jenrick added.
