GB News star Martin Daubney has warned Ofcom is being "weaponised" after the media regulator ruled earlier this week The People's Channel had breached broadcasting rules.
Legal proceedings have been launched against the regulator with GB News saying in a statement that the rulings "go against journalists and broadcasters rights to make editorial judgements in line with the law".
Martin Daubney waded in to hit out at the “ridiculous” ruling on the People’s Forum with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

He told GB News members: “Rishi Sunak got a complete toasting. He did not get soft soaped and there was no way this was Rishi Sunak on TV with a full supportive treatment.
“And yes Ofcom said today that it lacked balance. What about shows that have been done before? Tony Blair with the BBC?
“These things happen routinely and we’ve also extended the same invite to Sir Keir Starmer.
“I’m starting to feel that Ofcom is being weaponised by GB News critics. They’d like to close us down. Is this politically motivated? Is this the mainstream media closing ranks on what they se as an upstart, a threat, a counter voice?”
Ofcom has ruled against GB News on multiple occasions with the latest for its coverage of the People's Forum: The Prime Minister.
