GB News host Martin Daubney has clashed with a Just Stop Oil protester, accusing the environmental group of making Britons "poorer" as the organisation announced the end of its disruptive tactics.
In a heated exchange with Just Stop Oil's Sue Houseman, Martin fumed: "You have made everybody poorer."
The confrontation came as the climate activist group revealed it would be "hanging up the hi vis" with a final demonstration planned for April 26 in Parliament Square.
Just Stop Oil announced it would cease its campaign of disruptive protests that have sparked public outrage across the country.

The environmental group stated: "Just Stop Oil's initial demand to end new oil and gas is now government policy, making us one of the most successful civil resistance campaigns in recent history."
They claimed to have "kept over 4.4 billion barrels of oil in the ground" and noted that "the courts have ruled new oil and gas licences unlawful".

In a heated debate on GB News, JSO spokeswoman Sue Houseman said: "Everybody would take a cut in their electricity bills if we had a sensible move to renewables."
Martin hit back: "That hasn't happened. And it won't happen any time soon. Because renewable energy isn't cheaper.
"Despite all the promises that have been made by people like yourself. When do we get these mythical unicorn cheaper bills from green energy? When?"
Houseman fumed in response: "When we get a Government who lacked in the interest of the people rather than the billionaires.
"What Just Stop Oil wanted is for them to start now and to really push for it. But what we realize is it's not that we can't do it, it's that there's no desire to do it.
"The reason there's no desire to do it is because our politicians are owned by the fossil fuel company. Our media are owned by millionaires who have big stakes in the fossil fuel industry, and they just have to do it."
Martin responded: "You admitted that Just Stop Oil has wound its operations down. Because Ed Miliband has just stopped oil. He's made you redundant."
He added: "You've won and we're all getting colder and poorer."
Just Stop Oil confirmed the end of their most controversial tactics, stating: "So it is the end of soup on Van Gogh's, cornstarch on Stonehenge and slow marching in the streets."
However, they emphasised this doesn't mean an end to all their activities.
"But it is not the end of trials, of tagging and surveillance, of fines, probation and years in prison," the group said.
They pledged to "continue to tell the truth in the courts, speak out for our political prisoners and call out the UK's oppressive anti-protest laws".
The group's final demonstration in Parliament Square will mark the conclusion of a campaign that has divided public opinion since its inception.
