Two brothers from Rochdale have made their first court appearance over alleged assaults on police officers during a disturbance at Manchester Airport's Terminal Two.
Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 20, and Muhammed Amaad, 25, appeared before Liverpool Magistrates Court following the incident on July 23, which was captured in widely shared online footage.
Neither defendant entered pleas during the brief hearing, where they faced charges of causing actual bodily harm to officers.
The brothers appeared before District Judge James Hatton in a hearing that lasted 10 minutes.

Mohammed Fahir Amaaz is accused of causing actual bodily harm to Pc Zachary Marsden and Pc Lydia Ward.
He faces an additional charge of assaulting emergency worker Pc Ellie Cook by beating.
The 20-year-old is also alleged to have committed common assault against a member of the public, Abdulkareem Ismael, during the same incident at Manchester Airport, though this charge was not formally put to him at Thursday's hearing.
His brother Muhammed Amaad, 25, is charged with causing actual bodily harm to Pc Marsden during the same incident.

The case has been sent to Liverpool Crown Court, where both brothers will next appear on February 13.
