Detectives investigating the death of a seven-week-old little boy have charged a man with murder.
Police were called to an address on Piccadilly Road in Burnley on Sunday, November 28, 2021, after the Ambulance Service found baby Abel-Jax Mailey unresponsive.
Despite dedicated efforts to save the infant at Manchester Children's Hospital, he later died on November 30.

A post-mortem established the baby died of a fatal head injury.
A man and woman were initially arrested on suspicion of assault and later on suspicion of murder in connection with Abel-Jax’s death.
The woman was later released with no further action taken.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, 26-year-old Oliver Mailey, of Bowness Road, Burnley was charged with murder and is set to appear at Blackburn Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
Police confirmed they are supporting the infant's family, saying: "Our thoughts remain with Abel-Jax's family at this sad and very difficult time."
