A group of masked thugs raided a parked DPD delivery van in broad daylight, whilst the driver was making a stop in Dagenham.
The balaclava-clad thieves passed dozens of parcels from the parked van into their car this morning, with the delivery driver nowhere to be seen.
Footage filmed by an onlooker from a house nearby shows the thieves chucking parcels ranging from Asos to Amazon into their Vauxhall Corsa.
The Metropolitan Police were quickly called to the scene at 10.45am, after they received reports of a theft on Whitebarn Lane.

They arrived on the road just four minutes after the call, but all the suspects had fled the scene.
In a statement, DPD said: “Police were called at 10.45am on Monday, December 9, to reports of theft from a motor vehicle in Dagenham, RM10.
“Officers arrived at the scene on Whitebarn Lane within four minutes and searched the area but no suspects were located.
“No-one was harmed in the incident.”

The force said that enquiries are ongoing and encouraged any witnesses or those with information to contact the police on 101 quoting reference number 2365/09DEC.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Officers arrived at the scene on Whitebarn Lane within four minutes and searched the area but no suspects were located.
“A video circulating online appears to show three men removing items from a DPD delivery van and putting them into a black Vauxhall Corsa which had cloned number plates. No-one was harmed in the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.”

“They simply don't care,” one account said. “No down side for them. They do not fear the law or prison, even slightly.”
Another added: “F*****g b******s. Disgusting. Daylight too. These scum are becoming so brazen in their actions.”
A third said: “Probably a self employed driver who won’t be earning any money today, w*****s.”
