A murder investigation has been launched after a 63-year-old man died following an assault outside a Wetherspoon pub in south-east London.
The incident occurred last night outside The Watch House pub in Lewisham.
Police believe the man was attacked following a "disturbance" at the pub.
A suspect has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the assault, which took place on Lewisham High Street at around 8:39pm.

The victim, who has not yet been named, was rushed to hospital but later died.
Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of an assault.
Officers and paramedics found a 63-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries at the scene.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 20:39hrs on Saturday, 1 March to reports of an assault in Lewisham High Street."

The man was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
His family have been informed of his death.
Police have arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident.
The suspect was detained near the scene shortly after the assault took place.
He remains in custody at a south London police station while investigations continue.
The Daily Mail reported the incident as a possible "one-punch attack" near the Wetherspoons branch.
