Two men have been arrested, while police are on the hunt for a third, after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a football match yesterday afternoon.
The alleged victim, a man in his 60s, had reported being punched outside Norwich City FC's Carrow Road stadium in the aftermath of a Championship play-off game against Leeds United.
Police said an "object" is believed to have been thrown at the man, who sustained a "cut to his chin" as a result of the alleged assault, while photos circulated online of a Leeds fan in a blood-soaked t-shirt.
He was then attended to by paramedics outside the stadium, and did not require further treatment.
