Video from inside a government building shows the damage left behind by Russian attacks

The devastation left behind by Russian forces in Ukraine’s second largest city, Kharkiv, is laid bare as fresh footage from inside a missile-hit government building is released.

The administration building was hit during an air strike on Tuesday morning, as video from earlier this morning showed fire and smoke bellowing out of the building.

The attack occurred at 08:01 local time (06:01 GMT), a timestamp on the original footage suggests.

But now fresh footage shows just how much damage the attack has had on the building and its surrounding areas, with nothing but rubble seen for tens of metres.

Speaking after the latest attacks in Kharkiv, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has urged the West to do more to put an end to what he described as "barbaric" attacks.

"Barbaric Russian missile strikes on the central Freedom Square and residential districts of Kharkiv. Putin is unable to break Ukraine down. He commits more war crimes out of fury, murders innocent civilians," Kuleba said.

He added: "The world can and must do more. INCREASE PRESSURE, ISOLATE RUSSIA FULLY."

Representatives from Ukraine and Russia met near the Belarusian border on Monday, but talks ended without finding a ceasefire agreement.
