Just Stop Oil eco-zealots have interrupted a production of Les Miserables as audience members heckled the quartet for disrupting the performance.
Four activists locked themselves to the stage of the French-revolution-themed show.
The incident took place at the Sondheim Theatre in the West End earlier tonight.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed it was alerted about the incident at 9pm.

Local officers arrived quickly at the scene and arrested five people inside a theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue.
Eco-warriors rushed onto the stage as actors sang the iconic Les Miserables hit Do You Hear the People Sing?
One activist raised a Just Stop Oil banner at the same moment as as actor started waving the red flag on-stage.
Actors halted the performance as stage managers attempted to remove the protesters.
Audience members voiced their disappointment in video footage circulating on social media.
The quartet's cry of "just stop oil" was met with a chorus of boos and whistles.
One woman yelled: "Get off. Stupid people. Get off. How dare you."
