An eco-activist has hijacked their own Lancaster University graduation ceremony, using the students' celebration as a platform to express views on climate change.
Hopping on the bandwagon, Just Stop Oil posted a video to social media of the interruption with an explanation that Callum, 24, "interrupted their own graduation because our government won’t listen to the science."
In the video, an individual dressed in ceremonial robes takes to the stage to preach to his fellow students before being forcibly removed by security.
Callum can be heard saying: “I’m going to talk for a few minutes. Our degrees are pointless in the wake of the climate crisis.
"We have no future. It doesn’t matter how sustainable our university is, it doesn’t matter what qualifications you have.
"We won’t have jobs. We won’t be able to feed ourselves. I don’t want death. I don’t want other people to suffer and die from the effects of the climate crisis.
"Make a difference. We are winning but we are running out of time”
Just Stop Oil reiterated Callum's opinions on social media, with the caption: "There’ll be no jobs — no liveable future — and our degrees will mean nothing if our government continue to license new oil and gas."

PAThe direct action eco-activist group then took the opportunity to promote a "mass youth training" event scheduled for the start of September in London.
Earlier this week, Just Stop Oil's own vegan banquet at the Heritage and Arts Centre in Bow, East London, was disrupted by pranksters.
Setting out to give the activists a 'taste of their own medicine,' YouTube pranksters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners set off rape alarms hidden in helium balloons.
JUST STOP OIL LATEST:
Just Stop Oil have ramped up their efforts to wreak havoc across Britain, targeting sporting events such as the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, The Open golf, the Ashes cricket, the World Snooker Championship and the Premiership rugby final at Twickenham.
The group have also caused chaos at the Chelsea Flower Show, opening night of the Proms, Glyndebourne opera festival in East Sussex, and George Osborne's wedding.
Another eco-activists group from Scotland, This Is Rigged, have recently applied pink spray paint to a portrait of King Charles III by Victoria Crowe exhibited in Edinburgh.
This Is Rigged have so far disrupted First Minister's Questions in the Scottish Parliament on multiple occasions, smashed the glass encasing William Wallace’s sword, thrown paint on Holyrood, spray painted areas of Glasgow, and interrupted a Scottish Energy Forum dinner.
The group has also blockaded fuel suppliers in Scotland by occupying the NuStar Terminal in Clydebank, with fuel prevented from leaving both terminals, cutting off the majority of Scotland’s petroleum supplies.
