Missing Briton Jay Slater fell and was not snatched, an internet sleuth has claimed.
TikTokker ChristopherTenerife, an expat living on the Spanish island, posted a video of himself search a large section of the mountainous region.
He said: “I don't buy into the conspiracy theories, I don't buy into someone took Jay.
“When you come and stand on this terrain, if that lad was heading for the coast I honestly think he's had a bit of misfortune.

“I feel he's in this ravine, in this area of Tenerife . . . missing – I honestly believe that.”
Slater, 19, went missing on June 17 after travelling from a rave to the remote Airbnb in the mountains of Tenerife with two men.
The Lancashire teenager posted a Snapchat video of himself at the Casa Abuela Tina before calling friend Lucy Mae Law ahead of his disappearance.

Slater’s last known location was half a mile north of Masca village.
However, Lancashire Police offered to support Spanish officers yet again.
The force had claimed an initial offer was ignored by their Spanish counterparts.

REUTERSThe original statement said: “While this case falls outside the jurisdiction of UK policing, we have made an offer of support to the Guardia Civil to see if they need any additional resources.
“They have confirmed that at this time they are satisfied that they have the resources they need, but that offer remains open and they will contact us should that position change.”
A subsequent statement added: “Our position remains the same as per the statement in June. We continue to support the family.”
Despite Spanish authorities calling off the search, local police have maintained that the case for the missing 19-year-old is "very much open" with "all scenarios" being kept in mind.
Officers are now following three potential leads, including Slater potentially relocating to another part of Tenerife.
