New footage, apparently from just hours before his disappearance, shows Slater revelling at a packed nightclub on the island
British teenager Jay Slater has been pictured in new footage from a Tenerife nightclub just hours before his disappearance - as the race to find him enters its fifth day.
Slater, 19, from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, was last heard from on the morning of June 17 when he called his friend Lucy Law while trying to walk back to his accommodation on the island after missing a bus.
Thanks to his sharing of his live location on social media platform Snapchat, Slater's last known location is thought to be the Rural de Teno park in northern Tenerife - where Spanish authorities have turned out in droves as they ramp up efforts to find him.
But new footage, apparently from just hours before his disappearance, shows Slater revelling at a packed nightclub on the island.

Andy Watson, the long-term partner of Slater's mother Debbie Duncan, has told the Sun that the person pictured in the footage was indeed the 19-year-old.
And in another shock revelation, a Tenerife resident has opened up on the two men with whom Slater was last seen - and has claimed locals saw him "walking on his own".
She told the Mirror: "I never saw the missing boy, but I know people saw him walking on his own. I saw the two British men who stayed here.
"They came in for cafe con leche a couple of times. One was aged about 40. The other one was slightly younger.

"They arrived on Saturday and were due to stay until Monday, but they left on Tuesday."
While in another twist, Lucy Law revealed that Slater told her he had "cut his leg on a cactus" and had "no idea where he was" in a frantic final phone call.
Law told Sky News that the 19-year-old had gone to stay with people he met on Sunday night who were staying in an apartment that was "miles away from civilisation and in a very secluded location".
She added that he had left the apartment at 8am on Monday and walked for half an hour before "frantically ringing" her.

Handout/InstagramSlater, an apprentice bricklayer, was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, shorts, trainers and carrying a black bag.
And a fundraising appeal set up by Law to help search for him has raised over £18,000.
Almost 20 friends and family members have flown out to the Spanish island to help - while police and firefighters armed with drones, sniffer dogs, and helicopters have ramped up search efforts in Tenerife's northern hills.
As the hunt continues, a Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office spokesperson has said: "We are supporting the family of a British man who has been reported missing in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities."
