'It's about the history of the UK - so frustrating!' Residents in Scampton speak out on asylum camp

Residents in Scampton have hit out at the asylum camp that could arrive from April the 14th.

Speaking to GB News one person said: "It's a 2000 asylum seekers I want to put in and there's only what, 638 locals.

"I think it'll be overwhelming for the locals and I don't think it'll be such good idea. With me having kids myself and having five daughters and everything else that's going on at the minute, I don't think it should be anywhere close to a small city like this. And what about the preservation of the heritage here as well?"
