Ahead of being flown to London on Tuesday, the Queen's coffin will lie at rest at St Giles' Cathedral in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh.
As flags return to half mast across the UK, King Charles III will take part in a procession from Holyroodhouse to a service at St Giles at 3pm.
As the procession moves down Edinburgh's Royal Mile, guns will be fired, with the last round of shots occurring as the hearse stops outside of the cathedral.

Members of the public will then be able to file past the monarch's catafalque from around 5pm on Monday.

Vigils from The Royal Company of Archers will guard the coffin, which will have the crown of Scotland placed on top.
The coffin will remain in place for 24 hours before being flown from Edinburgh Airport to RAF Northolt, accompanied by Princess Anne.
The Scottish government is asking people to come prepared for hours of standing should they wish to join the queues with changeable weather conditions expected.
Photography inside St Giles will not be allowed, and security checks will be in place.
The Queen's lying in state in London at Westminster Hall will begin on Wednesday September 14 until the morning of her funeral on Monday 19 September.
