In social media posts, the man is seen declaring he is a member of a violent Hamas “tyre burning unit” and chanting a battle cry referring to a massacre of Jews

A Hamas-supporting migrant who vowed to “die for the sake of Allah” filmed himself arriving in Britain, prompting fears of a “national security threat” from the Channel crossing crisis.

Palestinian influencer Abu Wadei filmed a TikTok video showing his arrival in the UK via dinghy.

In the video, he is wearing a keffiyeh surrounded by others in orange life jackets as a border force boat is seen nearby.

Wadei, who’s real name is Mossab Al Qassass - has around 170,000 followers on his account as well as 189,000 subscribers on YouTube where he collects money via PayPal.

The influencer has previously shared imagery of himself brandishing assault rifles and hurling slingshots.

In one video, he is seen at a rally declaring he is a member of a violent Hamas “tyre burning unit”.

In the post, he lashes out at Jewish people, adding that his “loftiest aspiration” is to “die for the sake of Allah”.

Another social media post suggests the man in his 20s attended an event addressed by now-deceased Yahya Sinwar, the former leader of Hamas and mastermind behind the October 7 attacks on Israel.

He is also seen chanting a battle cry referring to a massacre of Jews at the Battle of Khaybar in 628.

In a particularly shocking video posted on Facebook, the man calls for Allah to "punish [Jews] completely".

"Allah, it is upon you to [deal with] the Jews and those loyal to them," he reportedly said.

"Allah, kill them one by one, and don't leave a single one. Allah, destroy them completely, disperse them completely and make the earth fall from under their feet."

UK-based activist group Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) learned of the man’s arrival in the Britain on the south coast of England on Friday.

CAA carried out “body mapping” checks, comparing images of the boat arrival with videos and images of Wadei’s profiles.

Officials from the group have said the man’s arrival in the UK could bring a flood of dangerous Hamas supporters to the UK, posing threats to national security. They issued an urgent appeal to the Home Office to take action.

A spokesman said: “We consider that this man poses a threat to public security and are asking the Home Office for urgent assurances that he is in secure custody pending further investigation.”

“A jihadi whose stated ambition is ‘to die for the sake of Allah’ and prayed for the slaughter of all Jews must not be permitted to be at large in this country.”

They added: “The fact is that he has brazenly posted not only these views, but also his involvement in a Hamas-endorsed unit in Gaza on social media accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers.”

“It is alarming in the extreme that he does not appear to have attracted the attention of the authorities in numerous European countries and has now arrived in the UK with relative ease, having openly posted videos on each stop of his journey to the UK.”

Over 2,056 migrants have crossed the Channel this year after a shocking surge of 36,816 in 2024.

The Daily Mail reported that the Home Office refused to say whether they were aware of Wadei's militant background or whether he was free to roam the streets of the UK.

A Home Office spokeswoman also told The Sun: “We are committed to ending small boat crossings which undermine our border security, and restoring order to the asylum system to ensure that the rules are respected and enforced.

“While it is a long-standing rule that we never comment on individual cases or operational matters, the British public can be reassured that we take all steps necessary at all times to protect the nation's security.”
