GB News Political Correspondent Tom Harwood has received the Freedom of the City of London for services to his field.
In the Middle Ages, the Freedom of the City enabled he or she who received it to trade in what was referred to as the 'Square Mile' of London.
This continued through to the Victorian Era.
Anyone with the Freedom of the city also has the right to walk a herd of sheep or cattle over London Bridge.
Previous recipients include Benjamin Disraeli, Margaret Thatcher and even US actor Morgan Freeman.
