GB News is the UK's fastest growing digital news platform

GB News was launched on this day in June 2021, becoming the first television news start-up since 1989.

Over three years, GB News has grown from a broadcasting channel to a digital and radio platform producing exclusive podcasts, interviews and membership material.

Viewers congratulated GB News on its milestone with one person writing on Facebook: "So everyone, GBNEWS 3 years today it was launched on our screens, best thing that happened to British TV, who agrees?"

"Watched from day one & wouldn't go anywhere else for news & debate. Considering what they've been up against they've done brilliantly," another supporter said.

Another person said: "Couldn't be without it now!"

"The only news channel for me. Happy Birthday GBN and many more," said one well-wisher.

GBNews.com is officially Britain's fastest-growing news website and aims to be the number one UK news channel by 2028.

The channel has over 1.27 million subscribers on YouTube and hit more than 1,000,000,000 views on YouTube by 2024, making the channel the fastest-growing British news provider ever on the world's top video platform.

Another supporter penned: "Happy 3rd birthday GB News. You’ve been a breath of fresh air."

Other viewers commented on their favourite GB News presenters: "Me I’ve watched it from beginning seen a lot of different presenters, my favourites are Emily & Patrick."

GB News has huge plans for the future and has already launched its GBN America stream of content, aimed directly at the US market where it is already proving hugely popular, both with British ex-pats and Americans.

In November 2023, it launched GB News Membership- a way for users to read exclusive content and support the channel - and a brand new app, with a host of features, was also launched this year.
