Latest RAJAR data shows the unstoppable growth of the People’s Channel

GB News Radio has surpassed both Times Radio and Talk Radio during prime time hours, cementing its position as a growing force in British broadcasting.

The latest RAJAR data shows the channel outperforming its rivals between 19:00 and 23:00, both in weekly reach and total listening hours.


The People's Channel has seen remarkable growth, with total listening hours increasing by 24.5 per cent year-on-year, rising from 2.792 million to 3.476 million.

Weekly listener numbers have also shown significant improvement, growing from 430,000 to 468,000, representing an 8.9 per cent increase year-on-year.

The success comes as GB News Radio launches a global distribution partnership with TuneIn, marking another milestone in the channel's expansion.

Several GB News Radio shows have recorded substantial year-on-year growth, with multiple programmes seeing double-digit increases in audience numbers.

The Weekend Breakfast show, hosted by Stephen Dixon and Anne Diamond, saw its Saturday programme grow by 25 per cent year-on-year.

Britain's Newsroom, with Andrew Pierce and Bev Turner, achieved the highest growth at 41 per cent, while Good Afternoon Britain, hosted by Emily Carver and Tom Harwood, saw a 39 per cent increase.

Other notable performances included The Martin Daubney Show with a 12 per cent rise in audience reach, and Dewbs and Co, hosted by Michelle Dewberry, growing by 9 per cent.

Nana Akua's weekend programmes also flourished, with her Saturday show up 27 per cent and Sunday programme increasing by 12 per cent year-on-year.

Regional growth figures have shown exceptional performance across multiple areas of the UK.

The Border region recorded the most dramatic increase, with audience reach surging by 369 per cent quarter-on-quarter.

The South West demonstrated strong growth as well, with figures up by 106 per cent.

The Midlands region also showed significant improvement, with audience reach increasing by 49 per cent compared to the previous quarter.

These regional gains reflect the channel's growing appeal across diverse geographical areas of Britain.
