The winner looks set to marry this summer, marking a significant life change for the millionaire

EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford is abandoning his seven-bedroom country estate to move in with his 80-year-old mother.

The 54-year-old former postman, who won £148million in 2012, plans to relocate from his luxury mansion near the Suffolk-Cambridgeshire border.

Both Bayford and his fiancée, Tracey Biles, will move into a nearby four-bedroom cottage that he purchased for his mother with his lottery winnings.

The couple are set to marry this summer, marking a significant life change for the millionaire.

A friend told The Sun that the lottery winner was hoping to "downsize and have a simple life and go back to how things use to be before he was mega rich".

The Grade II-listed mansion, which Bayford purchased with his then-wife Gillian, is now "full of bad memories", according to the friend.

"He loves Tracey. He loves his mum so it makes sense for them to all move in together," the friend added.

The couple had tried to sell the country estate for £12million in 2023 but were forced to take it off the market.

Last month, the father-of-two withdrew his plans to build a children's theme park on 20 acres of his sprawling estate.

Initial drawings showed a 'leisure destination' with educational facilities, a train ride, a renewable energy-themed play barn and maze.

Friends said the project was being led by Bayford's fiancée, telling The Sun that while he was "totally supportive", it "is really Tracey's baby".

The plans faced strong opposition from the parish council, which cited concerns about flooding risks, increased traffic and negative effects on a nearby walled garden.

The grounds of Bayford's luxurious home contain a huge vineyard the size of six football pitches, planted with Meunier grape vines used in champagne production.

In another money-making venture, he previously rented out a three-bedroom cottage on his estate via Airbnb for around £110 per night.

In 2017 and 2018, Bayford hosted a "mini Glastonbury" festival on his estate, attracting 2,000 revellers to the four-day Cambridge Rock Festival.

However, in 2023, the local council refused to provide him with a licence, forcing him to cancel the event.

Bayford and his then-wife Gillian purchased the mansion shortly after their 2012 lottery win, but their marriage ended just 15 months later.

Since then, Bayford has had four engagements and numerous relationships, including with a bodyguard, an equestrian lover and a waitress.

In December 2024, he proposed to ambulance worker Tracey Biles, 46, and even moved her parents into a £1million cottage on his estate.

Tracey's ex-partner Mark Newman previously told MailOnline he was devastated when she left him for the lottery winner.
