The business mogul was met with a furious response by Labour figures after he claimed 'civil war is inevitable' in Britain

Elon Musk is making a mockery of the political class in Britain with his critique of the Government’s stance on immigration, according to leading pollster and political commentator Matt Goodwin.

The business mogul was met with a furious response by Labour figures after he claimed “civil war is inevitable” in response to an X post blaming violent disorder on the effects of “mass immigration and open borders”.

According to Goodwin, Musk’s sentiment spreads far and wide amongst people outside Britain - but Westminster is yet to realise.

“I was in Hungary recently - the one thing I would say is, if you ever want a transition…”, he said.

“There was very little immigration in Hungary. There is a strong focus on preserving the integrity of the borders.

“There is also a very vocal opposition to social liberalism and gender ideology. I didn’t see much in the way of drugs. It just seemed like a much more cohesive society.

“Arriving in the UK, flying into London Luton as riots were unfolding across the country as we just discovered Labour are further liberalising the immigration system, as our political leaders were demonising the country as far-right thugs.

“I found myself listening to Hungarians saying, ‘what on earth is happening to your country?’

“I think, and this is where Elon Musk comes into this, the British ruling class haven’t fully understood the extent to which elites in other advanced democracies around the world think we have made disastrous political choices.”

Musk has hit out at the prison sentences handed to two rioters, branding the move “messed up” as he attacked the UK justice system.

Sharing details of the sentences imposed on 69-year-old William Morgan and 26-year-old Tyler Kay, Musk made the claim which irked political figures in Britain.

The X owner has previously suggested on the platform that some groups are treated more harshly than others.

He criticised the UK justice system with a photograph featuring what appeared to be a pornographic film, suggesting that certain communities were receiving more severe punishments than others.

In the X post, he posted the picture with the caption: “Found this pic of the UK justice system.”

Musk is one of the US’s most influential tech bosses and he has thrown his support behind Donald Trump for the US presidential election this year.
