Flight EZY2027 from Manchester to Ibiza was diverted on Thursday morning to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Remaining passengers returned to the skies to head to the popular party island thereafter.

Easyjet confirmed the flight was able to continue to Ibiza after the “disruptive” passenger was removed.

Passengers jeered as the British man was removed from the Easyjet flight.

An eyewitness told The Sun: "He just started kicking off in mid-air on his own. He was literally just off his face.

"The air hostess couldn't calm him down so the other passengers started shouting at him to calm down.

"He was just swearing at everyone and pointing his finger at people
threateningly, offering everyone a fight."

The witness added: "It was quite worrying for everyone else."

Members of the flight crew reportedly told passengers it would cost the airline £20,000 to land, take off again and rejoin the flight path.
