Eamonn Holmes has revealed a remarkable childhood tale of being arrested at the age of 10 during a football trip to Manchester.
The GB News host revealed that he got a boat from Northern Ireland to Liverpool when he was young to watch his team Manchester United play.
However he revealed that when he arrived in the UK, his father was "arrested for having no identification."
They were released because his family doctor gave a speech stating that this is "against the Hippocratic oath.

Speaking about his experience, Eamonn said: "I was lifted over the turnstiles, I remember. Things happened that just would not happen now.
"So the only reason we got out on the same boat was our family doctor. Our doctor Paul McKeown, and I always remember him standing, I was a 10-year-old, saying I have taken the Hippocratic oath and you dare question me."

The doctor "shuddered at the Special Branch" before the family was released and put on a bus.
"We got released and put on a bus, and we end up at Old Trafford, we had got tickets for the wrong part of the ground.
"So my dad lifts me and my brother over the turnstiles, and then my dad went to the Stretford End, so we were completely separated. I was only 10."
This comes as Eamonn was discussing the dramatic turn of events at Wembley Stadium yesterday, Newcastle United ended their 70-year wait for major silverware with a historic victory over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
The Magpies triumphed against the defending champions in a match that will be remembered for generations by their loyal supporters.
Images from the final showed jubilant Newcastle players celebrating with the trophy.
The victory marks Newcastle's first major honour since the 1954/55 season when they lifted the FA Cup.
