Drone sightings have been reported near three US Air Force bases in Suffolk, as British troops are called in to assist with the investigation.
A USAF spokesperson confirmed that small drones were spotted flying in the vicinity of the bases today, marking the latest in a series of concerning incidents.
British military personnel have been drafted in to help American forces determine who is responsible for the drone incursions, sources revealed.
The latest incidents follow multiple drone sightings near RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall and RAF Feltwell between Wednesday and Friday last week.

The US Air Force actively monitored these unmanned aircraft as they were detected in the vicinity of and over the three bases.
While measures are believed to be underway to neutralise the drones, the Air Force has not yet identified who might be behind these concerning incursions.
The three bases, located in Suffolk and Norfolk, are Royal Air Force facilities primarily used by US forces, with RAF Lakenheath serving as a crucial strategic asset.
The 48th Fighter Wing at Lakenheath forms the foundation of US combat capability in Europe, according to the US Air Force.
The American military is developing specialised ammunition to counter such drone threats, with plans to equip helicopters and tanks with medium-calibre rounds capable of targeting small, high-speed aircraft.
"There's not enough air defence assets out there," Major General John T Reim, the Picatinny Arsenal's commanding general, told military website Task and Purpose last month.
"We want all our formations to have the capability against small unmanned aerial vehicles, and also make them more lethal from increasing threats that we're seeing from our adversaries," he added.
The drone incidents come after a 43-year-old man was charged with a bomb hoax following a suspicious package incident at the US Embassy in Nine Elms, London.
Daniel Parmenter, of Kildare Terrace, W2, was charged after police responded to reports outside the embassy on Friday, November 22.
The incident prompted a significant police response and led to a controlled explosion being carried out at the scene.
