Center Parcs: Boy, 15 dies at Woburn Forest in skateboard accident

A 15-year-old boy has died at Woburn Center Parcs following a skateboard accident.
The tragedy happened at the popular Bedfordshire holiday destination on Thursday.
An air ambulance was called to the scene and took the teenager to Bedford Hospital South Wing.
The 15-year-old died a short time later.

A Center Parcs spokesman said: "It is with great sadness that we confirm, following an incident at Center Parcs Woburn Forest, a guest tragically passed away last week.
“This is a distressing time and our thoughts are with their family and friends.
“At this time we are also supporting colleagues who assisted the emergency services and express our gratitude to both."
The East of England Ambulance Service confirmed receiving reporters about the youngster.

A spokesperson added: “We were called at 3.54pm on Thursday, October 26, to Center Parcs Woburn Forest with reports that a teenage boy had fallen from his skateboard.
“An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and a response car from the Magpas Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
“The boy was transported to Bedford Hospital South Wing for treatment.”
The incident comes just weeks after grandmother Penny Bulpitt was struck by a car.

Bulpitt, who was a supervisor, later passed away in hospital.
She was reportedly in the parking area where vehicles can only travel when going to and from accommodation car parks on Monday to Friday.
A spokesman expressed their sorrow, saying: "We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of one of our team at Woburn Forest, our thoughts are with her family, friends and her colleagues at this time.
“We are in contact with her family, and we are offering support to them and any of our colleagues at Woburn Forest who have been affected.
"Center Parcs is working closely with all the relevant authorities following this incident."
