Britons have hit out at Royal Mail after the postal service has implemented their third price hike for stamps in a year.
From today, stamps will now cost 10p more for customers, making first class stamps £1.35 and second class stamps 85p.
Reacting to the 13 per cent price increase, Britons in Bolton have slammed the "unfair" and "ridiculous" cost increase, as the cost of living crisis continues for millions across the country.
Speaking to GB News reporter Sophie Reaper, residents of the Greater Manchester town shared their frustrations with the postal service and their rising costs.

One resident said the cost increases are "getting out of hand" and is "really feeling the pinch" as a pensioner who sends a lot of cards to loved ones.
She explained: "I do send an awful lot of cards and letters - I'm really feeling the pinch with all the stamps that I'm buying."
The pensioner admitted that now it's going up again, she's "going to have to cut back" on the Christmas cards she sends this year.
Another local revealed she "only uses WhatsApp" to send greetings now, as the costs are too high. She told GB News that the cost of stamps is "not fair being so expensive" for the people who continue to use the postal service.

Another Bolton lady told Sophie Reaper that the cost of stamps "used to be quite cheap" for Britons, but now she believes they are "too expensive".
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
She fumed: "They used to be really quite cheap, but no, I don't think it's fair at all."
Sophie highlighted the costs of "council tax, road tax, water and broadband" all increasing, and asked the next Bolton resident how the rising costs of living is affecting them.
The local responded: "All these price hikes are not fair at all, it's absolutely ridiculous. You're working longer and you literally can't afford to live each month. It's pathetic."
Speaking in defence of the price hike, one couple said businesses "have to increase costs to survive". He added: "I think it's probably fair that they do it, but I think it's down to people to shop around and get the best deal for themselves because they can do better."

Another Bolton local was against the increase as said it was "not fair" for customers, noting is is "quite difficult" for Britons who "live alone and pay rent".
Discussing Royal Mail price rises, chief commercial officer Nick Landon said: "We always consider price changes very carefully, but we face a situation where letter volumes have reduced dramatically over recent years while costs have increased.
"It is no longer sustainable to maintain a network built for 20 billion letters when we are now only delivering seven billion.
"As a result of letter volume decline, our posties now have to walk more than three times as far to deliver the same number of letters as before, increasing the delivery costs per letter."
