The Town of Prosper described the incident as "tragic" in an official statement.

According to an autopsy report from the Collin County Medical Examiner, Harrison died from a gunshot wound to the chest.

The report, dated January 23, detailed that a bullet entered the right side of her chest and exited through the left side of her back.

Toxicology results showed Harrison had consumed caffeine prior to her death.

The examination found no traces of ethanol, nicotine, illicit drugs or prescription medications in her system.

A thorough investigation has been conducted by the Prosper Police Department, with the case now under review by the Collin County District Attorney.

An inquest into Harrison's death has also opened in Britain, with a hearing scheduled for March 28 at Warrington Coroners' Court.

The Prosper Police Department has not released details about how the shooting occurred.

The investigation remains active, with both American and British authorities involved in examining the circumstances of Harrison's death.

Harrison's family paid tribute to their "beautiful, gorgeous Luce", describing her as someone with a "huge capacity to love and be loved".

"She was the embodiment of wonderful contradictions", they said, noting how she loved both travelling and cosy nights at home.

The family said she was "truly thriving in life" before her death.

"She could be dramatic and elaborate situations like it was the end of the world, yet she could also be straight talking and not afraid to have bold conversations", they added.

Her loved ones said they were "utterly heartbroken" at their loss.
