Two senior soldiers from the Queen’s Royal Hussars are facing investigation after showing up to a barracks party in SS uniforms.
The two men posed for pictures at the Halloween party, even shockingly raising their arms to give Nazi salutes.
Guests were left aghast and issued complaints, leading to the Royal Military Police having to escort the pair away.
These images later appeared online, sparking outrage from senior officers.

It was then discovered that their Regimental Sergeant Major had approved the Nazi costumes, a decision that earned him a suspension pending an inquiry.
The military police, who removed the soldiers from the party in Tidworth, Wiltshire, continue to investigate.
A source said that in a bid to save his career, the RSM pleaded ignorance about the Nazi uniforms.

Although it is not alleged that the sergeants were making political gestures, their lack of sensitivity, particularly so close to Remembrance Sunday has shocked high-ranking officials.
One senior source told the Daily Mail: "They may not have had any intention to offend anyone but, for heaven’s sake, what were they thinking?
"Everyone in the Army knows this is completely unacceptable. The RSM is also responsible."
The source added that it was an insensitive move, seeing as hundreds of officers and troopers lost their lives to the Nazis.

PAAn Army spokesman said: "We apologise unreservedly for the unacceptable behaviour of these two individuals and the offence that it will cause.
"Their actions demonstrated serious and significant shortfalls in judgment and conduct and were totally incompatible with the values and standards the Army demands."
