A five-year-old girl has died after a car burst into flames in a horror crash in Bristol.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to Bishport Avenue, in Hartcliffe, Bristol, on Wednesday August 14 at around 8.20pm after reports of a vehicle collision.
Fire and ambulance services also attended the incident, in which four others, one of whom was in serious condition, were sent to hospital.
On Thursday, police sadly confirmed that the girl died this week from her injuries from the incident two weeks prior.

An eyewitness told BristolLive: “I was on the bus and you could see the line of fire in the road where the car was on fire. It was like a string of fire behind it so I think the tires might have been on fire.”
Another said that 11 police vehicles, three fire engines and multiple paramedics arrived on the scene.
“I overheard one of the police officers say something to do with an accident occurring,” they added.
Video footage shows the humongous blaze engulfing the car following the crash.

Officers have now launched an urgent appeal for more information after the tragedy.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers are renewing their appeal following a fatal collision in Hartcliffe earlier this month.
“Officers were called to a single-vehicle collision in Bishport Avenue, in Hartcliffe, on Wednesday 14 August at around 8.20pm.
“Four people were taken to hospital, one of whom was in serious condition.

“It is with great sadness that we must confirm a five-year-old girl has sadly died this week from her injuries following the collision.
“Her family are aware and they are being offered support by a specially-trained family liaison officer. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the collision and we are renewing our appeal for witnesses and anyone with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage.”
