The father of the teenage boy who murdered Brianna Ghey has been jailed for 15 months in relation to two offences of exposure and one count of taking an indecent photo of a child.
Kyle Ratcliffe, 36, from Leigh, was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court this morning after admitting to the three offences.
Ratcliffe exposed himself on two occasions just days before his son's murder trial in November last year.
Eddie Ratcliffe, 16, was found guilty of Ghey's murder alongside his co-defendant Scarlett Jenkinson, also 16, on December 20.

Police charged his father, a manager of a truck company who also ran a kickboxing gym, just weeks later on January 17 as his son prepared for his own sentencing.
The 36-year-old was remanded in custody ahead of his sentencing.
Reporting restrictions connecting the father and son were lifted following the guilty pleas.
Trial judge Mrs Justice Yip initially imposed the restrictions in order to avoid prejudice to his case while the outcome remained undetermined.

The Ratcliffes were separately sentenced at Manchester Crown Court

Eddie is currently serving a minimum of 20 years in jail for the murder of Ghey.
The transgender teenager was stabbed 28 times in an egregious attack on February 11 last year.
She was attacked by two teenagers in Culcheth Linear Park, near Warrington.
Jenkinson was handed a minimum term sentence of 22 years before parole.

Jenkinson and Ratcliffe were found guilty of Brianna’s murder by a jury’s unanimous verdict at Manchester Crown Court in December.
During investigations, officers found a chilling handwritten plan to kill Brianna in Jenkinson's bedroom.
Police also recovered the murder weapon, a hunting knife which Ratcliffe had bought on a family holiday to Bulgaria just weeks earlier, from his bedroom.
Before the disclosure of the 36-year-old father's crimes, neighbours who lived near their home in Leigh described the family as pleasant and respectable, adding they "kept themselves to themselves".
