Reform UK leader Richard Tice found himself on the end of a grilling from GB News’s Bev Turner as she pulled him up on a chilling Putin warning.
According to Tice, Ukraine are “fighting for the West”, and defeat to Russia in the ongoing war would spell bad news for other world powers.
Putin would not feel his work is done and will likely start mobilising his troops for more action in an all-conquering mission, Tice suggested.
But Bev Turner is sceptical about this theory, questioning how Tice “knows” that is what will happen.
“Ukrainians are not only fighting to save their sovereign nation, they are fighting for the freedom of the West”, he said.
“If Putin wins, anybody that thinks he is going to stop there and that’s enough, is at best being deeply naive.
“He will go into the Baltic states…”
Bev interjected: “How do we know that? I don’t know why politicians talk with such confidence about that.”
Tice asked whether we “knew” Putin would invade Ukraine, which Bev argued we did for eight years.
